The Hospital Auxiliary wants you! Here's what we do . . . .
* Render assistance to the South Lyon Medical Center and its ongoing goals to improve the health of our community through fundraisers and service. Since 1993 we have provided hospital equipment, furniture and remodeling in excess of $58,000. Projects such as the Ultra Sound for Physical Therapy, Dr. Tebbe Solarium, Pediatric Room, Chapel, Urgent Care and Long Term Care equipment, examination tables, pictures for the new Barbara Rippee entrance and currently we are going ahead with plans to provide funds for a new Infusion Room.
* We organize Blood Drives.
* We assist in the annual health fairs.
* We provide scholarships for medical students in our community.
* We provide a volunteer hospice program for the terminally ill.
* We coordinate monthly birthday parties for residents of Long Term Care.
* We volunteer at the hospital.
There are three kinds of memberships. you can become an Active Member who shall pay annual dues of only $5.00 and participate in fun fundraising projects. Life membership is available for only $100 and will be exempt from further payment of dues. Honorary members are chosen by the auxiliary to honor them for quality and length of service to the hospital and Auxiliary.
